Boy was this an old story
I wrote it in... 7th grade?
it was called "Frayed Wires"

the girl is Mozzarella (see re-named herself because she doesn't want to remember her old self at all... too bad she's not good at naming things)
her sorry in brief:
she was happy with her rich technology company dad
step mom doesn't like her
so she takes her out in a row boat and beats her over the head with a paddle and throws her over board
mozzarella washes up on the island of Cayamatru and finds a cat and a fully furnished house (- _-)
and orders 2 VERY REALISTIC robots from the internet
(totally 100% stolen from a manga I once read)

cat: Intelligent? Used to be supercat's past so I always called him soup but I don't think he's the same cat
he learns to speak after a while I think

Lucas is the blonde one

(his female equivalent is #12)
He's artsy and reads and paints and cooks and cleans and is polite and respectful but is a stickler for rules and won't do anything not specified in his owners manual of himself

Sage is the skateboard bro
also a robot (#13)
practically the opposite of Lucas
he was supposed to be a "bad boy" but he was programed not to do anything really stupid
but if he could, he would

they both are stupidly loyal to Mozzarella because well
she owns them

and that's pretty much the whole story
there was a #14 at some point, basically Sage's sister but she was cast out of the warehouse because she was glitchy so Mozzarella took her in and she can't speak and her eyes are all jacked up

I kind of want to add to it
